Get the DOGS HOME for Christmas PART 2

This years Get The Dogs Home for Christmas fundraising event will be bigger and better than last years event, meaning for the volunteers it will be tougher and more demanding. This year 1 volunteer from each team will be blindfolded, dumped and lock inside a dark secluded location (this is to represent how a dog feels when its abandoned, usually tied to a tree in an unfamiliar area). These 2 volunteers will face FEAR like never before...... YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO BE ALONE!
The remaining 2 volunteers from each team will have to solve cryptic clues to find their friend, once they've achieved this the 3 of them will have to complete a challenges at 3 different locations during their 200+ mile trek back to Manchester Dogs' Home
Like last year they will have NO money, NO mobile phones, NO transport and NO food. But they will be equipped with a first aid kit, 3 bottles of water, 3 protein bars, a poncho, a foil blanket and a camcorder and NOTHING ELSE!Each team will be GPS tracked at all times to ensure their safety.
Each person will be able to take with them 3 items from the list of 10 below.
1. Sleeping Bag 2.Tent 3.Cigarettes 4.Tobacco 5. Lighter 6. Deodorant 7. Fresh Socks 8. Toilet Paper 9. Hair Brush 10. Papers. EACH PERSON will be SEARCH prior to leaving to ensure NO contraband is smuggled!!!

The objective is to raise peoples awareness to dogs that are either homeless and wandering the streets, alone, hungry and frightened, or in a dogs home, at the festive time. All funds raised will be used by Manchester Dogs Home to help pay towards emergency treatment, vet care and veterinary operations that a lot of the dogs that arrive at the home so badly need. PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY.
