Story
Alice and I will be taking part in Jailbreak to fundraise money for Worldwide Cancer Research.
Jailbreak is an event where teams compete to travel as far from Manchester as possible in 30 hours, without spending any money on transport.
We plan to busk and raise money from the public in busy areas of Manchester, before finding the cheapest and furthest travelling flight from the airport. From there we will find to raise more money to travel further.
Our fundraising target is £200 and all of this money will directly go to Worldwide Cancer Research to further their work into finding new treatments for cancer.
Cancer Research Worldwide are the leading charity supporting new and innovative research at world leading institutions. The charity funds research in over 34 countries around the world, to date funding over £199 million of research into 26 cancer types. A global perspective allows institutions to combine their research to enhance understanding of cancer and develop more effective treatments. Donations are vital because without funding the research cannot happen.
