*UPDATE 3rd MAY 2021:
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT DONATED AND MADE THIS RAFFLE SUCH A SUCCESS WITH OVER £4,000 RAISED!
PRIZE WINNERS WERE EMAILED ON THE WEEKEND*
Gabriel Ray's Raffle is taking place to raise awareness of congenital CMV and raise money for the charity CMV Action.
We have organised this local charity raffle in the hope that people will donate to support the work of the charity CMV Action, and to raise awareness of congenital CMV and the catastrophic risks to unborn babies.
Local businesses and individuals to Saffron Walden and Cambridge have been so generous in donating a wide range of prizes (listed below). 100% of the money raised from ticket sales will be donated to the charity.
Tickets are £5. Donate in multiples of £5 for multiple tickets!
Please be sure to select the option 'I'm happy to share my contact details with Emily Little' on the donation payment page so your raffle tickets can be allocated and prize winners emailed.
Winners will be announced and emailed after 1st May 2021 with details of how to claim their prize.
CMV, or Cytomegalovirus, is a common virus that can infect people of all ages. Once CMV is in a person’s body, it stays there for life. Most healthy adults and children who become infected will have no signs or symptoms and no long term effects from CMV. It can however pose serious risks to unborn babies if a pregnant woman catches it for the first time. Congenital CMV is when a baby has been infected before birth.
CMV Action’s mission is to limit the devastating impact of CMV for those currently affected and for future generations.
