Thank you for taking a moment to learn about my story and the cause that motivates me.
If you don't know me, my name is Gaby and I'm Venezuelan 💛💙❤️. Ten years ago, the growing political and economic instability in my country pushed me to make the difficult decision to emigrate far from my home, my culture, and my people... as of today, more than 7 million Venezuelans have found themselves in the same situation. Tough, right? Now imagine those who haven't had any other choice but to stay.
This journey has shown me how fortunate we are, those of us who were born into a family that provided us with education, a safe home, and unconditional love... factors that are key to emotional development, professional growth away from your country, and overcoming the obstacles that arise. Sadly, this is not the reality for millions of children in Venezuela who, far from lacking privileges, lack basic needs and face unimaginable difficulties every day due to the humanitarian crisis affecting the country.
A year ago, I started running half marathons, and I'm still amazed to see thousands of people running together at 9 am. I discovered that such a highly publicized event could be used to raise awareness and help a charity, and in my research, I discovered CHAMOS ❤️. Their work focuses on projects to provide health and education to children in Venezuela, or as we say there, "to chamos in Venezuela."
To my Venezuelan friends, to the friends I've made outside of Venezuela, I would love to count on you.
The goal is to make many people aware of the situation in Venezuela and let them know that they can help through CHAMOS. Every contribution, whether by donating or sharing this post, can make a difference in the life of one of these children, changing their reality and giving them hope for a better future 🙏🏻

Gracias por tomarte un momento para conocer mi historia y la causa que me motiva.
Si no me conoces, mi nombre es Gaby y soy venezolana 💛💙❤️. Hace 10 años, la creciente inestabilidad política y económica en mi país me empujó a tomar la difícil decisión de emigrar lejos de mi hogar, mi cultura y mi gente... a fecha de hoy son más de 7 millones de venezolanos que se han visto en la misma situación. ¿Rudo no? Imaginense ahora los que no han tenido más remedio que quedarse.
Este camino me ha mostrado lo afortunados que somos los que nacimos en una familia que nos brindó educación, un hogar seguro y cariño incondicional... factores que son clave para el desarrollo emocional, desenvolverse profesionalmente lejos de tu pais y superar los obstáculos que se presenten. Tristemente esta no es la realidad de millones de niños en Venezuela que, muy lejos de no tener privilegios, carecen de necesidades básicas y día a día enfrentan dificultades inimaginables debido a la crisis humanitaria que afecta el pais.
Hace un año comencé a correr medias maratones y aún no salgo del asombro de ver miles de personas a las 9am corriendo juntos. Descubrí que se podía aprovechar un evento con tanta atención mediatica para elevar la voz y ayudar a una fundación, e investigando descubrí CHAMOS ❤️. Su actividad se centra en proyectos para proporcionar salud y educación a niños en Venezuela, o como decimos allá, "a chamos en Venezuela".
A mis amigos y conocidos venezolanos, a los amigos y conocidos que he hecho fuera de venezuela, me encantaría contar con ustedes.
El objetivo es que mucha gente conozca la situación de Venezuela y sepa que puede ayudar a través de CHAMOS. Cada contribución, donando o compartiendo este post, puede marcar la diferencia en la vida de uno de estos niños, cambiando su realidad y brindándole esperanza para un mejor futuro 🙏🏻
