Sponsor Silence · 24 June 2017

We help children with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders unlock their potential. Our unique combination of Conductive Education and Occupational Therapy helps children achieve movement milestones, develop essential life skills, and enjoy greater independence and inclusion in everyday life.

Story

The reason I am doing the Sponsored Silence for Whoopsadaisy is because a little boy we know named Adam, has a very rare condition called Mitochondrial DNA Depletion Syndrome linked to the SUCLA2 gene and he is the only person in the UK who has it.

Whoopsadaisy is helping him by teaching him how to walk (which he can already do on his own! - photos from before and now, below) and other skills to make him more independent in everyday life. This lovely charity is located in Brighton and they help children with mobility problems and cerebral palsy to learn how to move and live their lives well.

This charity relies on private donations and I want to help by doing the sponsored silence. I hope you can donate as much or little as you can/like so they can keep on helping children like Adam.

I will remain silent for at least 8 hours and I consider this a very big challenge but I will try to complete it. Please help me keep my promise!!!
