Gail, Kirsteen, Linsey and Jane's hike up the Ben!

We are hiking up Ben Nevis on the 24th of June 2017 to raise money for the Margaret Kerr Unit in memory of our friend and Girlguiding leader, Dina Nicoll. We have asked all of members of our County to join us- not on the mountain side but by completing the County Commissioners challenge below.
This year’s County Commissioners Challenge is to run, jump, hop, bounce, skip, swim, jog, cycle, scooter or even just walk a mile to raise money for the Margaret Kerr Unit at the Borders General Hospital. Members of Girlguiding Tweed Valley whether they are a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide, Senior Section, Adult or Trefoil Member have been challenged to do this mile in any way that they choose, collecting sponsorship for this local charity that supports our community in so many different ways.
Some units have already completed this challenge and others will complete it over the summer term- part of the Girlguiding Promise means that we think of others and do something to help- help our girls keep their promise by supporting them!
Thank you
Gail and Kirsteen
