What started as being a lockdown activity has escalated quite rapidly! Like many others, when I watched the amazing runners in the marathon last year I was inspired to enter the ballot, thinking that I would never get a place… when the email came through saying “YOU’RE IN” I did not believe it, but I knew there was no backing out! Whilst the training has been a challenge (as I have never been a natural athlete), it is nothing compared to what some families have to go through on a daily basis, who have a child with a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.  With your help, I hope my London Marathon efforts will bring some happiness into the lives of many families that Wipe Away Those Tears grants wishes for. 

After a number of years since holding our last charity ball, Wipe Away Those Tears funds are running extremely low. 

Any donations big or small are much appreciated.  My aim is to raise at least £20,000.
