Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was introduced to BLESMA by my son Jordan. He worked for them after Uni and loved his time there. They have been in existence for over 75 years and support ex service men and women of all ages for their entire life. They are a dedicated bunch and I feel really honoured    ( and a tad under pressure! ) to have been awarded this place in the London Marathon. Those that know me well are aware that I am not particularly sporty but I have been an early morning jogger for the last 4 years. The furthest I have run so far is 10K - I certainly have some training to do! It would mean a great deal to me if you could dig deep and support my effort. There will be various fund raising events before I run but this is the start. I realise we are all asked to support many charities but please take time to look at the BLESMA website, the men and women they help are truly inspirational. My next few months are nothing compared to what some of these ex service men and women face every day.

THANK YOU!
