We lost my mother-in-law( Sue & Nanny) in 2014 and it has to be the toughest thing my family has had to go through to date. Through out her time in the hospital all of the nurses and staff on the cancer ward could not have looked after Sue any better. David would visit her at all hours of the day and night and they were always around and welcomed him with welcome arms. 

I met sure for the first time back in 1997. Sue was always there for her family, loved by her children, grandchildren and family members. Myself and David could not have raised our 2 girls without her help, she was always willing to look after them without a blink of an eye. Her children and grandchildren were her world and she loved that she ended up with 7 grandchildren (all girls), all of them very different in character but she loved them all the same.

Small things remind me of her, like the daily visit from a robin in my garden which makes me smile and Laurel always looking for the brightest star at night.I believe that Sue is always looking over us. She is missed every single day and is always in out hearts and thoughts.

I am looking forward to taking part in the 'Pretty Muddy Run' so I can give something back, and do my part in helping to try to find a cure for this heart breaking disease.
