We did it! All back safely!!

Since 2012 we have been supporting Greenfingers through various activities on Garden Re-Leaf Day. Last year Tom and I stood like statues for 24 hours taking part in the Plant-A-Thon so this year we thought we ought to do something completely and not stand still at all! So we're joining others from the horticultural industry on the Great Garden Re-Leaf Day Walk around 20miles of Cambridgeshire.

Having been involved with Greenfingers since Richard Jackson came up with the idea 20 years ago there's two things that never cease to amaze me...

The amazing reaction that is achieved by a Greenfingers garden. It provides a place for children, and their families, using a hospice to escape, to play, to laugh, to cry, to just be themselves, to rest, to share, to rest and sometimes just be.

The other surprise is that having created over 50 gardens demand is as great as ever. I never realised how many hospice there are in the UK and how much they need the support that Greenfingers can provide.

The Greenfingers Charity is unique in what it does. Nobody else creates such a rewarding space and without the team at Greenfingers, their suppliers, supporters and you they simply wouldn't exist. Whatever you can afford to sponsor us is fantastic. We're set ourselves as a team a target of £1,000 but we really want to raise much more than this.
