This is Approx. 1mile open water swim in the Thames, 25mile bike ride and finally 6mile run to finish off.

Training started in November 2010 but has really started now in Feb 2011 with what seems like training every night of the week. I am swimming 3 times a week, starting to use the road bike and running or at the gym any other spare nights i get. The more training i do the more apparent how hard this event is. This has turned from a "lets make money for charity and have fun at the same time" to "this is a real challenge and a massive test of physical and mental strength - hope we get plenty of sponsership along the way". Please do give what you can as there is not many people out there lucky enough not to have a/had a family member or friend suffer from cancer and this is a great charity to generate funds towards. This is a large expense for me personally with travelling, training and equipoment but if i can achieve a finish and the fundraising target it will be worth every minute and penny.
