Brighton Marathon 2011 · 10 April 2011 ·

Better bone health for everybody. We’re proud to be the only UK-wide charity dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. With more than 30 years of expertise and experience behind us, we are committed to helping keep the nation’s bones stronger for longer.

Story

Well here we go again.......

Further to finishing the Brighton Marathon last year I am clearly a glutton for punishment and have decided to do it all over again this year for an equally worthwhile cause.

I will be running the 26.2 mile course in Brighton on Sunday 10th April on behalf of the National Osteoporosis Society (NOS).

The Society Influence health and social care provision to achieve excellence in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis to prevent fragility fractures.  Hip fractures cause more than 1150 premature deaths each month in the UK with Osteoporosis being the primary cause.

The NOS provide caring support and information to enable people affected by osteoporosis to make a positive difference to their lives.

Osteoporosis has touched my family personally and your support by way of sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.
