Whoopsadaisy helps children with physical disabilities live life as independently as possible. Using the Hungarian method of Conductive Education we focus on what the children can do in group sessions which the children's parents and carers also attend. .At Whoopsadaisy every step counts.

Story

Dear friends. I have rather foolishly decided to run 12 Marathons in 2017. This includes 5 trail marathons, 5 road ones and a super mental double distance run from London to Brighton.

By way of an update, I planned to support two charities in this endeavour and for the first of these, MNDA, I took part in the London To Brighton Challenge (non-stop 62 mile run from London to Brighton) in May and have raised £1000 alone for them from this one event. For all those that supported me I thank you immensely. I would also stress that I cannot reasonably ask again from all those that contributed to this part of my fundraising.

However, I have chosen two charities to support during the overall challenge. I can now concentrate on the second part of my fundraising. The whole 12 Marathon challenge is in support of Whoopsadaisy, a Brighton based charity helping children with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities.

Originally, the Whoopsadaisy fundraising was to be in partnership with my running group, The Run Squad as this was their chosen designated charity and I planned mainly to direct this fund-raising through the Run Squad Facebook page. Unfortunately, this group is no more , leaving me with a bit of a dilemma. Thankfully, a phoenix has risen from the flames and we have formed a new one called Rogue Runners. It was very important for more to re-affirm my commitment to Whoopsadaisy so to them I dedicate the rest of my challenge year and I will direct most of my efforts via Rogue Runners.

That's enough already, thank you for reading.
