At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was told that riding 190 miles around the counties surrounding London would be a lovely weekend outing. Having previously done 50 miles in a day, I thought this would be straight forward ......how wrong was I......I'm beginning to realise it needs some training, which requires lots of time and some great cream........ So why not rise to the challenge and do something far more worthwhile and raise money for a great cause that is close to my heart .....The Alzheimers Society...its a horrible disease and one which does not get a sensible level of research funding especially given just how common it is and how many of us will end up living inside a body with this horrible disease eating away ........

Thanks in advance for your support.....and there's a map of the route on the MLR website if anyone wants to come and laugh at me in serious pain !!!

Regards, Gareth
