The FA Vase tie at Silsden on October 4th was a perfect opportunity for us to do something different, as a club, for charity, while at the same time getting people back in the saddle!

The ride was 23 miles from Leeds to Silsden FC and is virtually all canal towpaths, apart from a puncture and the need for a few coffee stops, the day went to plan and we made it to the ground with ten minutes to spare!

Many thanks to Silsdens' officials who were waiting to greet us and were very welcoming, even offering to store the bikes overnight.
