Garreth Wood is raising money for Kids Operating Room
Story
Welcome to my JustGiving page! I am beyond excited to take on the TCS New York City Marathon this November in support of Kids Operating Room. By running the iconic 26.2 miles, I hope to raise both awareness and funds for Kids Operating Room (KidsOR), the charity I proudly co-founded with my wife, Nicola, in 2018.
Around the world, 1.75 billion children live in countries that lack access to safe and timely surgery. By installing state-of-the-art, child-friendly operating rooms and working with skilled local teams, KidsOR helps ensure that no child's life is cut short just because of where they live.
I am determined to raise £37,500, which is enough to provide 500 children with a life-saving operation in a KidsOR Operating Room. No amount is too small, and every penny counts. Your donation will provide the necessary surgical facilities, support, and hope to children and their families when they need it most.
