Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Right then - some of you may remember us from Two Fat Blokes In A Boat in 2011, a ridiculous challenge that involved two of us (Gary Bailey and Andy Armstrong) canoeing from Paddington in London to Stoke On Trent on the canals. Which we completed. Without dying. So we're off again - this time our mid life crisis manifestation is cycling from Lands End to John O Groats, and there are more of us. Andy can;t make it this time due to family comittments - though he's still very much involved - at the moment there are three of us, Gary Bailey, Andy Watson and Mark Evans, and we're doing it in the last two weeks of May 2013. I know, I know - getting to middle age has a lot to answer for. There may yet be more of us, but the three of us are the only ones to commit so far, this site will be updated accordingly.

Mark has his own page set up for his charity of choice (SANDS - link to be added).

So please give as much as you can - ALL of the money will be going to the charities, we won't be creaming any of it off, all of our travel, accomodation etc will be paid for by ourselves. I know lots of folks are always doing something or other. But this is the most important one - please dig deep.

You can donate here, or for those who know us give us some cash the next time you see us (or the next few times you see us...) We're going to be driving you crackers with this over the coming months - no apologies for that. Yous ee some of this money you're donating - you might be asking for it back in a few years time.

I'll be creating and updating a blog with our training and progress, and add the link here at a later date.

Anyway, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks - Gary Bailey
