Please support me as I am spending a whole day in Yorkshire, as a proud Lancastrian this will be very difficult and I am not sure whether I will be able to last the whole day.

In preparation I have been watching Emmerdale and old episodes of Heartbeat and Last of the Summerwine to prepare me for what to expect.

I am also planning to spend short periods of time in Rochdale looking towards Yorkshire on slightly cloudy days.

My final preparation will be to spend between one and two hours in Skipton on a quiet midweek morning.
