On Sunday August 4th 2013 I will be competing in IRONMAN UK 2013!

This ultra-distance triathlon endurance event involves a:-

- 2.4 Mile LAKE SWIM – Equivalent to 152 lengths of a standard swimming pool!

- 112 Mile BIKE – Equivalent of Liverpool to Hull including 5,300 feet of climbing.

- 26.2 Mile RUN – A full MARATHON to finish!

All distances must be completed within 17 hours to achieve ‘IRONMAN’ status!

I have chosen for 50% of my donations to go to the ‘Make a Wish Foundation’ that makes dreams come true for children with terminal / life limiting illnesses.

Other Rotary Charities who will benefit from the other 50% of your donations include Cancer Charities, Childrens Hospices, Help for Heroes and Air Ambulances.
