Great Scottish Run Half Marathon 2014 · 5 October 2014 ·

Scotland's leading asbestos charity, providing a voice and vital support to those living with and affected by mesothelioma, lung cancer and all other asbestos & work-related disease and injury.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Once again I am raising money in memory of my Granda Andy & my Uncle Bill who have both died from mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos. My father Andy suffers from pleural plaque also caused by exposure to asbestos. I have been supporting CAA since 2011 & have raised almost £5000 since then. This is the first time I have ran a half marathon & I am taking part in the Great Scottish Run on Sunday 5th October. I have not set any targets for how long the run will take or how much I want to raise but I would like to assure you that any donation is most appreciated & will be used to support victims & their families who suffer as a result of these terrible diseases.

Many thanks,

Gary.
