Saturday 7th September myself & Ben are taking part in an endurance challenge to run 10 mile whilst carrying 35lb/16kg in a bergan (rucksack) over a cross country course at Catterick Garrison Army Barracks.

There are 2 reasons we have chosen this charity, firstly because of the amazing work & care they provided to my wife after the birth of our daughter Grace last year. Unfortunately Natalie had several complications during labour which led to her needing 2 blood transfusions. Thankfully due to the speedy response of the nurses & doctors they were able to stabilize Natalie stopping a very scary experience from getting worse & allowing us to celebrate the arrival of Grace.

Another reason we chose this charity is for the amazing support they provided to our friends Alex & Hayley after their little girl Annie was born prematurely. Annie was in the Neonatal ward at Pinderfield's & the care they provided was second to none meaning Annie could get the support she needed prior to leaving hospital.

After these challenging times we can thankfully say that both Grace & Annie are absolute superstars & two of the happiest little girls you could meet.
