Those that know me already know my story. Following a car accident in August 2017, I required Heart Surgery to replace a leaking Aortic Valve. Thankfully the surgery was a complete success I am very lucky that i have been able to enjoy all the things I could do before the accident, especially cycling and running. This would not have been possible if it wasn't for the excellent care, skill and professionalism of the Cardiac Department at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. 

So, I'm doing the Prudential London Bike Ride for the Blue Skies Charity in hope that money raised will enable more people have access to the excellent type of care that I received.

I completed the Manchester to Blackpool Night Ride in October 2018 which was immense fun but this ride is double the mileage (100 miles) and a big challenge.
