I have chosen the charity RICE and the Dementia Plus Appeal because I wanted to raise money towards further research for diagnosing dementia in older people. Unfortunately my Grandad wasn't diagnosed but one of the causes of death was said to be dementia. I hope that any money raised will help RICE to improve their research into Dementia and therefore it will be diagnosed faster in the future which will improve quality of life for those suffering.
