Walk the Northern Line · 27 September 2014

Restored Eating Disorders Services offers support to people with eating disorders. Our objectives are to promote & protect the physical & mental health of sufferers of eating disorders & carers of people suffering with eating disorders in the UK through the provision of support, education & advice.

Story

On the 27th/28th September my brother Scott and I will be walking the length of the London Underground Northern Line passing every station along the route. The total distance of this is 39 miles.

Day 1 - Morden to High Barnet,

Day 2 - Edgware to Elephant and Castle.

This reason for this walk is to raise money for I-Eat which is a very small charity based in Bournemouth that provide support and guidance for people who are suffering with an eating disorder.

My youngest daughter Megan was diagnosed with Anorexia approximately 3 years ago and this charity has provided amazing support that has really helped her in the ongoing fight against this illness.

Part of this support includes meeting every week with a previous sufferer in confidence so that she can share her thoughts and feelings and really just to be able to talk to someone who understands exactly what she is going through.

We would like to raise as much as possible so that I-Eat can help and support many other people in a similar situation as my daughter.

Thank you

Gary
