Gary van Wyk is raising money for Bokamoso Education Trust
Story
I'm running the London Marathon on 3rd October 2021 in aid of Bokamoso Education Trust. I only started running regularly during lockdown last year, with 5km distances gradually increasing to 10km, 15km and a few half marathons. As an asthmatic, I was motivated by keeping myself and my lungs as healthy as possible, should I catch Covid. In the end, I stayed Covid free until August 2021 and although a week in bed messed with my training for this run and left me quite fatigued (perhaps that's also to do with having a new baby?), I am excited about the challenge ahead and determined to give it my best shot. I would appreciate any support you're able to give me for this very worthwhile but little known charity.
