The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At VMware we are committed to social responsibility and giving back to the community in multiple ways through the VMware Foundation, Service Learning opportunites and through the charities we support.

In 2013, VMware became a patron of the Prince's Trust, a great cause supporting the young people who are the future of the United Kingdom.

One of the ways we are supporting the trust in 2014 is by entering a team in the 2014 Palace to Palace, a great "chance to get on your bike and have some fun with friends, family and work colleagues and challenge yourself" at the same time as raising some much needed cash for a really worthy cause.

For young people, The Prince’s Trust is often the last resort. Instead of offering hand outs, The Trust provides them with the opportunity to learn life-long skills to equip them for the future. Our aim is to give these disadvantaged young people a fresh start so that they can change their lives for the better.

We intend to see around 50 cyclists join this brilliant event, from the almost professional amongst us, to those taking their first rides in an effort to support the charity.
