‘Every daymakes a difference’ – for the past 20 years, local Gatley resident – AdiPluck - has been raising money for localcharities. Over the past few years, he has mobilised his friends and family tocomplete a 10 mile walk from Gatley to Styal and back, raising money for StAnn’s Hospice. This year, a group of local people have joined Adi to plan theevent and maximise the opportunity to raise money for the hospice which isfacing ongoing funding challenges.

Adi says: ‘I was guttedto hear that St Ann’s Hospice are facing an uphill struggle to secure funding– they need more money than ever due to funding cuts and their struggle touchesmy heart’
Cheadleand Gatley is located in the west of Stockport between Cheadle Hulme andHeald Green. It has a total population of 14,698 with 5,984 households. Gatley is a wellestablished community and has a long history of celebrating village life andlocal residents want to capitalise on these assets by establishing an annualFamily Fun Walk.
‘Ourobjective is to raise as much money as we can for St Ann’s Hospice whilst atthe same time having fun!’ says Adi.
