Next week is organ donation week, Gav's timing couldn't have been any better, his five donor recipients are hopefully well on the road to recovery following their transplants. In honour of Gav and the hero that he is I have set up a just giving page to raise funds for Revive to thank the staff at Belfast Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Intensive Care Unit who worked tirelessly round the clock to try and save Gav. They provided my family and I with the utmost care and compassion making this incredibly difficult time a little more bearable.
