I am Ambitious about Autism!!!

One minute read I promise...
The great 'Ambitious about Autism' (AaA) charity is a growing national organisation for children and young people with autism. We provide services, raise awareness and understanding, plus campaign for change. We help individuals and their families gain greater opportunities through our work.
Why am I doing this?
Like 1 in 100 people, my sister Lolly has autism. She is amazing. Like most families, we faced some challenges with autism - so having an organisation like AaA supporting us can make a real difference...read more about the great stuff going on here...

From this summer, I have decided to take some time away from my full time job and become involved in AaA as a volunteer - as growing the opportunities available to autistic people is important. Only 15% of all diagnosed individuals are given the opportunities to work that some of us take for granted.
AaA has launched a program of work called 'Employ Autism', with the goal to get more young people with autism into work.
So alongside helping the charity directly in building out this program, I am also going to do some much needed fundraising, hence this page.
I have decided to tackle 4 big summer bike rides, finishing with a very special event that is so important to the charity.
Ride 1 - Summer Solstice / Peckham 2 Hastings / 75 miles / 21st June 9pm till 22nd June 5am (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/summer-solstice-night-ride-tickets-53982700711)
Ride 2 - Dunwich Dynamo / East London 2 Dunwich / 120 miles / 14th July 9pm till 15th July 6am (https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/product/dunwich-dynamo-xxvii-2019/)
Ride 3 - Prudential / London 2 Surrey 2 London / 100 miles / 4th August 8am start (www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk)
Ride 4 - AaA & Rapha / London 2 Manchester / 220 miles / 31st August Midnight start till I need to be there by 6pm!!(www.rapha.cc/gb/en/stories/london-to-manchester)
...Raising money this way gives us as a charity a great opportunity to evolve the services offered and raise some much needed awareness of AaA to deliver impact.
If you can spare any pennies that would be great, I am going to post some pictures etc of the events as we go to keep you updated. All money donated goes to directly to the charity.
We would love your support (and you can join me on any the legs you want...thank you Fabien Meunier & Ilya Kondrashov for supporting so far!)
Thank you.
Gavin
