Jaariyah Project - on behalf of our Beloved Mother Rifat (Umm Imran and Anila)

Alhamdulillah. Known for her warm, jolly, loving nature and extremely generous heart, Mum - the heart and soul of the family - has sadly been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer.

Having been blessed with perfect health all her life, Allahﷻ
has chosen to test Mum through this illness.  Allah ﷻ
is the best of planners and we ask Him to make it a means of purification and an elevation of her status in this life and the akhirah ameen.

With Allah ﷻpermission, Mum has been a beacon of light for many people due to her compassionate nature.  She continuously supports many families, contributes towards children’s education, and has never turned anyone in need away.

We invite you to join us in honoring her legacy of always giving for the sake of Allah ﷻ.  Your support and dua’s will aid us to accomplish
this mission, from which you and your families will also benefit tremendously in both this world and the next In sha Allah.

Bi-ithnillah, our initial aim is to construct a desalination water unit in Gaza (Palestine) which will cost £7,500 (details below).

Gaza Desalination water Unit

• “More than 70% of the population of Gaza live below the poverty line. According to the UN, the water in Gaza is contaminated and is not fit for consumption
• A water desalination Unit in Gaza costs £7,500 and can provide hundreds of families with clean drinking water. 
• The water Unit will significantly decrease the number of infections among the local population. It will also provide them with financial relief as they’ll no longer need to purchase bottled water
• 5000 Palestinians will directly benefit from this project within a 3–4 mile radius.
• Each desalination unit can provide clean drinking water for up to 20 years.
• Maintenance, as well as filter & membrane replacements, are managed by local implementation teams on the ground.

The Prophet, upon him be peace, said: “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi).  

Charity will also stand as a shade for the person on the Day of Judgement (al-Tirmidhi) and will be a means of protection from hellfire (Bukhari, Muslim). And the best form of charity is providing water (Abu Dawud).

We ask Allah ﷻto make this Water Project a means of shifaa (cure) for Mum and an everlasting form of sadaqah jaariyah, not only for her but every single person who contributes towards this noble cause. Ameen
