The William Templeton Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health improves lives by inspiring innovations - based on leading research - for the identification, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental health conditions.

Story

We are currently in a mental health pandemic in our children and mental health charities are even more important during these difficult times, where services are being cut and budgets stopped, meaning very little help is available for children who are struggling with their mental health. Long waiting times for help and only the severe cases getting help on the NHS. Schools are being left to pick up the pieces but they don’t have the resources to deal with the growing numbers of cases. Young people’s mental health charity provides help and advice when as a parent you feel so helpless and have no idea what to do. I know all this from personal experience and want to try and give back by fundraising as much money as I can when I run the London marathon this month. Thank you so much for your donations, it will make a huge difference.
