Hello all, I might be totally bonkers doing this event but it's all for a good cause. I'm running 20 miles over rough terrain and have to complete around 200 obstacles it's going to be very very tough and the training is immense! The event is called the Rat Race dirty weekend at Burghley House - check it out online if you want to see how tough it's really going to be...

Most of you know (or have at least met) my partner Wyn who was blown up in Afganistan around 2 and a half years ago sustaining multiple injuries inlcuding the loss of his left leg, the ABF have been a great support throughout Wyn's rehabilitation and part of the reason for me completing this event is to give something back. The ABF are known as 'The Soldiers Charity' and provide assistance and financial support to both serving military personnel and veterans in times of need, they also provide funds for charities such as Help for Heroes!!
