In loving memory of Brooke Amy Evans xxx 25/07/06-01/12/2010

Thank you for visiting my just giving page. I have decided to run in the London marathan this year, this is something i have always wanted to do but have never applied before. 

I have chosen to run this year in loving memory of a Beautiful girl called Brooke Amy Evans who sadly passed away in December 2010.

As many of you know Brooke was born with a partial deletion of chromosone 10 of which hirschsprungs disease is a sympton of. It is a very rare condition which meant she was in and out of hospital many times throughout her life with operations and tests.. Throughout this time Brooke remained one of the happiest children i have ever met, especially i think because of her fantastic parents love and support and her wonderful family and friends.

Brooke prooved many a doctor wrong with what she acheived during her life, she was so determined and strong minded and such a sweet and cheeky little girl, and is so very dearly missed by all. Not a day has gone by since Brooke passed away that i dont think of her with such fond memories and to be honest i am in peices writing this...

The charity i have decided to raise money for is Havens hospices or this reason..

Havens Hospices incorporates Fair Havens Hospice and Little Havens Children’s Hospice. they provide respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care for adults and children living with life-limiting illnesses or conditions. 

Fair Havens now offers a range of specialist care services including an In Patient Unit, Day Care Centre, Fair Havens Macmillan Team, Hospice at Home and Bereavement Services.

The charity receives limited funding from the Government via the local Primary Care Trusts. .

It is for this reason any donation is greatly appreciated as in my opinion this is a fantastic charity which is locally based and run solely by the donations and generosity of its supporters.
