Story

WHAT IM DOING.....

On December 21st I'm chopping off my very loved locks at the Santander Harborne branch to raise awareness and money for this charity that's very close to home.

WHY YOU MAY ASK.....

This is something very important to us and very real for our lovely cashier Nancy. Her 34 year old daughter Libby is currently going through chemo to beat lymphoma and we want to offer all we can to continue the great work happening at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in selly oak. Any cancer is heart breaking and I feel when it leads to loosing hair it becomes very real, something you then have to talk about and explain! Up until then people may not know and you can deal with it privately. I'm not half as brave as the women and men who loose their hair when dealing with any form of cancer but In chopping off my VERY loved locks it will hopefully raise lots of money and awareness.

WHY THIS CHARITY IS SO WONDERFUL.....

We are the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting people affected by lymphoma.Every 28 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. You can help make sure that everyone coping with a diagnosis gets the best possible information and support, treatment and care. With your help we can be there for everyone who needs us. We all have the potential to make a difference, there are so many opportunities for you to get involved and help support people affected by lymphatic cancer. Thank you.
