Story

From Caroline & Chris

We are heartbroken to say that we lost our beautiful baby Lyra Pip Norledge Hare-Winton born 9th March 2022 at 23:01 weighing 8lb 13oz.  She was born sleeping peacefully, perfect in every way. Forever missed, never forgotten, loved always. A daughter and a little sister, forever in our family.

We are hoping to raise funds for families experiencing baby loss. The Norfolk and Norwich University hospital has a Bereavement Suite called the Meadow Room. This suite enabled us to spend 3 invaluable days with our daughter Lyra.

During this time, the suite and staff kept us in a protected bubble and supported us through the most difficult days of our lives. Over these precious days Lyra was held and loved by over 30 of our friends and family; we read her stories, sang her songs; and our daughter Sophie Rose got to meet her little sister and perform some of her big sister duties. We had the opportunity to capture those precious moments in photos, castings and prints. We were so supported and given many resources to help us in this time.

We want to ensure there are funds available to the wonderful staff for the resources they need to support families in those difficult early days and beyond.
