Steve spent 54 days in ICU where he was lovingly cared for by the team of Doctors, Nurses and support staff at the L&D Hospital. Unfortunately he lost his battle with Coronavirus on 7th May 2020. He was a much loved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend and it has left a huge hole in our lives and an ache in our hearts. Before Steve passed away he told  us that he wanted to give money to the NHS, so we really appreciate you contributing directly to the hospital that not only tried their best to save him, but went out of their way to make life easier for him and us as a family when we couldn’t be at his side. From Doctors that explored every medical tactic to improve his response to Nurses that prayed at his bedside and held his hand until the end. We will be eternally grateful for the fight, care, love and determination they showed for him and us.
