We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

Following in the mighty footsteps of all the serious sporting contenders, I thought what can I do to help raise money for the NSPCC that doesn't involve running a marathon or baking? I don't know what's worse. Having witnessed my Dad and Uncle participate in the Salford Dragon Boat Race over the years, I thought 'let's give that a try'.

I've pulled together a team of what I hope with be athletic legends to lead us to victory. On the 8th May, we will attempt to a) Make it through the day dry without ending up in the Quays, b) Win at least one race and c) Earn a shed load of money for this very worthy cause.

Please dig deep and give whatever you can. For the amusement alone its worth a £5 ;-)

Thank you in advance.

Gemma
