I am doing the MEMORY WALK in memory of my grandfather who sadly died with this condition.

I will never forget walking into his house one day and he looked at me with a vacant look on his face. He had no idea who I was.

That’s what hurt me the most...my kind, loving grandad who used to play games with me, cuddle me, treat me, tell me to pull his finger, push me on my bike, take me places, a proud man who was the head of our family now couldn’t remember his own granddaughter.

There has to be a cure for this awful disease....please help support the amazing work the Alzheimer’s and dementia society do in trying to find a cure.
