The last few years have been challenging, surprising and, at times, very difficult.

I have visited Alder Hey Children's Hospital numerous times with my troublesome foot. 

Since lockdown started I realised the importance of good mental health provision for young people, and realised the 7 in 10 Appeal at Alder Hey was exactly what I wanted to raise money for.

It has never been more important that young people get help with their mental health at the right time.

Over lockdown I fell in love with poetry, both reading and writing it. One thing led to another... and I have now published a poetry collection reflecting on the challenges my generation have faced over the last year.
