Story

Doosan Babcock Grassroots Charity Fund in support of Cumbria Community Foundation.

We as a team (pictured left to right - Geoff Blacklock, Paul McGee, Sammy Cooper and Paul Bond (not in picture)) are attempting to cycle non-stop for a 1000miles on a spinning exercise bike with an estimated time for completion of approximately 50-55hrs. Yes...that’s right...1000miles and very little or no sleep for over two days.

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for our local charities and we have set a target of £5000 which would be a fantastic achievement if that could be achieved but we need all your help and support.

The event will take place in the Red House Workington (11th - 13th August 2011) which will allow all you willing supporters of the event and charity to come and have a little laugh at our expense but more importantly donate some of your hard earned cash. Any donations (£1, £5, £10, £20+) will be more than greatly appreciated by us, the Foundation and all those who benefit form it.

Your kind donations to this event will go to helping our local charities and we thankyou all in advance for your generosity.

IT ONLY TAKES A COUPLE OF MINUTES TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE..!
