Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a lot of you will know, I was born in Swindon and am an avid Swindon football fan. I have decided to cycle to Swindon on the 22nd September to watch Swindon play Bournemouth and also raise money for Diabetes. The reason for me being born in Swindon was that my late father secured a job at Vickers Armstrong, on the present Honda site, at Swindon in 1950. I was born in 1954 and saw my first game at Swindon in 1961 just prior to moving to Southampton. My father died in 2008 of diabetic related illnesses. I am also a diabetic, hence why they are my chosen charity. I cycle to work regularly and cycle in and around Southampton. I have also cycled around the Isle of Wight in a day, so I am confident of completing the ride to Swindon, and watching the football match against Bournemouth.

So please dig deep and donate now.
