Update: 19th August 2010
We are pleased to announce we have just returned safely from our adventure. Our objective was met when at 07:00 hrs on the 12th August we stood on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enveloped in the mist of a frozen cloud we celebrated the successful climb that took us 6 days to complete. With a further 2 days required for our descent we had an unforgettable experience living on the mountain for over one week.
Our sincere thanks goes to all of you who supported our challenge and contributed to our chosen charity. For those of you that did not have the opportunity yet we would really appreciate if you would consider contributing to the fund.
Thanks so much
Geoff, James and Henry Kehr

An epic adventure is about to commence - Geoff Kehr and his 2 sons, James & Henry Kehr will mount an ascent to the top of Kilimanjaro. All being well we hope to summit in mid August.
Two years ago my wife Tracey, mother to James & Henry was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Such an event changes one's perspective on life. She was very brave and thanks to her postive attitude and the excellent health care in Belgium, she is well today.
We are grateful normaility has returned to our lives and so we feel it is time to celebrate life and do something extra-ordinary this summer. As both Tracey and I will be 50 years old this year it is even more compelling to do something different. For the boys (myself included) we will undertake our once in a lifetime mountain trek oddysey. Tracey on the other hand will track our progress from afar, enjoying the sunshine and pampering offered in luxurious vacation spot in Phoenix, Arizona.
We want to remember that at this very moment many other women, wives, mothers and families will be experiencing the un-welcome challenge brought about by a Breast Cancer. Help and support is so vital to help patients and their families through the treatment period and beyond.
Please make our Kilimanjaro climb even more memorable by making a donation to the Breast Cancer Care Charity attached. The funding will provide help to those that will really benefit from the extra support.
We thank you all so much
Geoff, Tracey, James and Henry Kehr
