Felstead Aid was formed in the UK to support the victims of Chernobyl. This terrible event has repercussions today as children are still being born with with impaired limbs and minds.

The Felstead Aid team who are all volunteers work tirlessly in the UK gathering clothes, toys, nappies, toiletries, wheelchairs, walking frames and any other requirements of the centre in the Ukraine.

The centre has treated over 26,000 children since it was formed in 2001.

Three or four times a year a convoy of vans takes these prescious donations to the centre. 

The cost to send each Van is £900 (excluding the personal expenses of the drivers).  My Rotary Club the Rotary club of Barkingside is sponsoring my 50% share and my co-driver has also covered his share of the cost. 

I am looking to raise as much money as possible to pay for the items that are needed but unfortunately have not donated.
