On the 4th August, I'm riding in the Prudential RideLondon to raise money for Bliss.
I've chosen Bliss because in 2016 my nephew, Joe, was born 10 weeks premature. The poor fella was very poorly and was kept in hospital for the first couple of months of his life, being kept under permanent watch and receiving one-to-one care. He suffered with Hydrocephalus, which put him under risk of serious brain damage, but fortunately doctors were able to diagnose and operate on him in time. Thanks to the incredible care he received at the time, he's now a very happy, healthy and mischievous two-year-old.
I’ve chosen to fundraise for Bliss because there are more than 100,000 babies born needing neonatal care every year and they do an exceptional job of supporting them and their mothers. Every donation that’s made to this page brings Bliss closer to ensuring that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life. Bliss does that by supporting parents to care for their babies, campaigning for better neonatal care and enabling life-changing research.
Thanks for your help!
