Story

Bonjour!

The Southern African Scholarship Fund helps the development of South Africa and its neighbouring countries that were deeply affected by apartheid by funding Southern African Scholars on courses which directly benefit the wider community when they return home. To date, the fund has supported trainee teachers, engineers, doctors and nurses. Your sponsorship will help provide a scholarship to a student from South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique or Angola.

I will be joining other Brighton University students & staff in a 40 mile bike ride from Brighton to Hastings Pier on the 11th of March to raise a few pounds for this very worthwhile cause.

Please check your piggy banks, pockets and purses for any spare change because every penny/dime/franc counts. You can also beg, borrow AND steal if you feel that your funds are a bit tight at the moment, I wont mind and i'm sure the charity will appreciate it !
