100 miles in 2 days... The BIG cycle! · 11 March 2013

The Kenelm Youth Trust oversees Alton Castle, Soli, BCYS and the school chaplaincy service. All of which offer dynamic and prayerful retreat opportunities to young people within the Archdiocese of Birmingham and beyond aged 9-15, all of which help to raise self esteem and team building skills.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

my name's George, and i'm a team leader at alton castle, a catholic adventure retreat centre located not too far from alton towers.

here at alton, we try our best to inspire young and often vulnerable young people to become more confident, grow in their faith and develop good communication and teamwork skills.

this year, the team are tying to raise enough money to go to Lourdes, a major pilgramage site in france. whilst there we shall be helping sick and disabled pilgrims daily, both with care and with getting around the area.

we have been doing many things to raise money, from bake sales to absailing off the castle roof! the next thing we are going to do is cycle to st. chads cathedral in birmingham (aprox. 50 miles) in one day, then back the same way the next!

i hope you can help me and the team, and i realy appreciate any donations!

from the bottom of my heart, thankyou in advance! :) <3 xx
