LAKE DISTRICT 3000FT CHALLENGE · 2 August 2013

Myeloma UK is the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma. We provide information and support to patients and their families and help myeloma patients live longer, with a better quality of life by accelerating the discovery, development of and access to new treatments.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

From July 30 to August 1, 2013 I set myself the challenge to climb the highest moutains in England over the 3000ft line - Helvelyn, Skiddaw, Scafell Pike and Scafell. This qualified for a Challenge Award from my school, Horncastle Grammar School, but I was also hoping to raise money for Myeloma UK. My granny died of myeloma in September 2009.

I was very pleased to complete the Challenge in reaching the tops of all four mountains over 3000ft over three days. This was a major challenge for me with approximately 20 miles walking up and down a different mountain each day in all weather conditions and around 10,000ft of ascent.
