We are three students from the University of Birmingham, who are running the Birmingham 10k to raise money for PASIC, an amazing charity based in Nottingham who support families with childhood cancer across the midlands, giving them the breaks, support and assistance they need when they are faced with the daunting prospect of childhood cancer. They are a brilliant charity who help families providing days out, support workers on cancer wards and assistance to families who are facing extremely troubling and tricky circumstances.

This aspect of fundraising for cancer is as crucial as money that is put into research, as families need social support during hard times to help them through dealing with childhood cancer and this is often underfunded.
