George and I love to hill walk but since I moved to Aberdeen our wee walking group has all but been forgotten.  We are having a reunion of 2/3rds of the club to climb Ben Nevis.  This will only be my 3rd time but for George it is his 19th time!!!  I expect he will run up it! 

Walking it at night will be a first for both of us!

The footfall on Nevis every year is massive and all those people treading on the same footpath can cause a lot of damage.  The Nevis Partnership maintains all the footpaths and keeps the Nevis range and surrounding areas looking glorious!  Climbing Ben Nevis would not be possible without them.

The Nevis Partnership is a charitable organisation which relies a lot on volunteers.  In fact, George volunteered with them for 3 months this year!  What a star!
