Georgia’s Virtual Lands end to John o’groats walk ! · 1 January 2021

Cerebral Palsy United is a football club and charity based in the North West UK, providing an inclusive football environment for anyone with CP or ABI. We complement our football with holistic support and self-development programmes, helping players and their families to "Be The Best You Can Be!"

Story

CP United is a charity run football club that has indirectly been apart of my life now for several years, with my dad and my brothers being apart of the coaching staff for the club.

The club is the biggest CP specific club in the world, giving children and adults of all abilities the chance to play football. The club is also a great support network for both the players and families a like.

During the toughness of covid, club funds have stretched and there’s been multiple disruptions to training, however the dedication from staff and parents have allowed virtual sessions to continue each week.

Therefore I will be walking the equivalent distance of Lands end to John o’groats (874miles) by Valentine’s Day, this will all be road walking due to gyms now being shut. I will be walking a minimum of 250km each week, which equates to about 50 hours walking a week. It’s going to be tough, and I hope the weather is on my side.

Any donations are welcome and very much appreciated ❤️
